Database of Students Engaged in Creative Writing

In order to attract quality articles for ‘The Ravenshavian’ to be published in the current year (09/10), as well as for other possible publications, the Ravenshaw University proposes to create a database of students engaged in creative writing.

Students whose writings have been published in reputed magazines, weeklies, literary journals other than their college, hostel or any other in-house magazines, and have received critical acclaim, awards etc. may submit their names, class, roll no, address and details of such publications writings to help create the database. Contributions will be invited from these students in particular, along with general request for articles, for future issues of The Ravenshavian. This database will also help in enlisting support and participation of students with acknowledged creative faculty on various occasions.

The residents of the hostels may send such personal data to the Superintendents, and the Day Scholars to the DSW. They in turn may hand over the data to Dr. Asima Sahu, Reader in Political Science who shall do further compiling and computerization. The process would be expedited if such information is furnished by emailing to Dr. Asima Sahu at her email ID sahu.asima@gmail.com.
