The Department of Political Science, Ravenshaw University offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate, MPhil and Ph. D. Programmes. The courses, number of seats and eligibility criteria for each course/program are given below.
Bachelor in Arts (B.A)
- Duration: 3 years
- Total number of seats: 80
- Maximum Strength in Political Science as Elective-80
Integrated B.A | B.Ed. – Political Science
- Duration: 4 years
- Total number of seats: 08
Master in Arts (M.A) – Political Science
- Duration: 2 years
- Total number of seats: 64 (GEN-35, ST-14, SC-10, PH-3, SDP-1, ESM-1)
Eligibility :
- The selection of candidate for the course will be through Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) conducted by Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC), Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha.
- Any graduate who have secured minimum 45% mark can apply for Common PG Entrance Test (CPET).
IMPORTANT:
A student who was earlier admitted/ has passed one Postgraduate course in one subject from Ravenshaw University will not be allowed to apply for admission into another Undergraduate/ Postgraduate course in this University. If any such violation is detected later, the admission will stand cancelled.
