Kapil Kumar Gavsker, has been serving as Assistant Professor (Stage II) in Department of Applied Geography, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack (Odisha) since February 2014.  He has a Post Graduate degree in Geography from Dr. B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra (Uttar Pradesh). He pursued his M.Phil and Ph.D degrees at University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. He cleared University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) and Junior Research Scholars (JRF) in Geography in 2009. He taught students of Undergraduate, Post-Graduate courses and the Research Course-Work for Research Scholars of Applied Geography. He has supervised three M.Phil scholars for their dissertation and got awarded degree in Applied Geography. As of now, around four scholars are working on their Ph.D. under my supervision.
