Dr. Shakti Shankar Acharya has been working as a Faculty at the Department of Physics, Ravenshaw University since January 2021His areas of teaching are Solid State Physics, Electrodynamics, Quantum Mechanics and Modern Physics. Dr, Acharya worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar after completing his Ph.D from Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University in 2017. He has also worked at Linkoping University, Sweden, TATA Institute of Fundamental Research and UGC-DAE CSR Indore, India as a visiting Research Fellow. His research interest involves understanding the physics of correlated electron systems with an emphasis on topological insulators, Weyl Semimetals and Magnetic Nano Materials.
