Ms. Debaswapna Ray completed her Master’s degree from the Department of Biotechnology, Ravenshaw University in the year 2017. During her Masters’ degree, she received the DBT Meritious Student Scholarship for her studies. She was also awarded from the Prof. Prana Krushna Parija charitable trust (Cuttack, Odisha) for her academic excellence. She qualified for the CSIR-UGC NET fellowship and GATE, Life Sciences examination. Her six-month master’s dissertation work was carried out at ICMR-Regional Medical Research Center at Bhubaneswar where she worked on the “Incidence of Type-2 diabetes mellitus and comparison of lipid profile among the vegetarian and non-vegetarian population” After her master’s degree she is engaged as Guest faculty in the Department of Biochemistry where she  teaches macromolecular biochemistry and applied human physiology.
