Dr. Nath received his Ph.D. from the Utkal University in 2002 and did his M.A. from the Utkal University in 1975. He has guided one Research Scholar for Ph.D. Degree in English. His Area of Interest being that of Indian English Literature, Linguistics, and Critical Theories.  He has worked as Lecturer and Reader in Odisha Education Service from 22.09.1977 to 31.07.2009, i.e. an experience of 31 Years 08 Months. Presently he is working as Visiting Faculty in English at the Ravenshaw University, Cuttack since July, 2014.
