Ms. Arunita Padhi is working as Assistant Professor in the area of Marketing, Strategy and General Management. Prof. Padhi’s competence lies in her capacity as an astute, dynamic, result oriented person with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. She has 17+ years of rich experience in academics, training and industry. Before joining Ravenshaw University she has worked as Assistant Professor in Modern Institute of Technology and Management, DRIEMS Business School & Magnus School of Business affiliated to ICFAI. Apart from a career in academia she was associated with 3P Training Org, Bhubaneswar as Corporate Trainer. She has an industry experience of 5+ Years working as Territory Manager for Nicholas Piramal India Pvt Limited responsible for all the key accounts across Karnataka. She has done her MBA in Marketing from Berhampur University, Odisha and B.Sc. with Chemistry Honours from Utkal University, Odisha. She is continuing her Ph.D. from Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. She has attended a number of FDPs, Workshops, Seminars & Management doctoral colloquiums at IIT Kharagpur, SOA University, IMI Bhubaneswar to name a few. Her research interests lies in the areas of Consumer Buying Behaviour, Vocal for Local products, Sentiment Analysis, Growth Strategies of organizations, Environment Social Governance, Consumerism and Entrepreneurship. She has presented a number of papers in national& international conferences. She takes a keen interest in mentoring and counselling management students in enhancing their employability skills.
