Mr. Bimal Kumar Ray has received his degree M.Tech in Computer Science from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha and Master of Science in Information Technology   from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India. He has 15 years of teaching experience at UG and PG level and 1 year industrial experience in IT sector. Currently, he is working as a System Administrator (Teaching Faculty) at School of Information and Computer Sciences, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha. 

He has taught Programming in C,C++, Android, PHP, Advanced Java, Internet and Web Technology, Visual Basic, Data Structures, Database Management System, Operating System  and  Multimedia Applications demonstrated ability to teach, motivate, and direct students in the areas of  IT & Computer Science while maintaining high interest and achievement. His research interest is focus on Cloud Computing and Social Networking.

He has attended more than 10 different programs such as a FDP, Conferences, Seminar and workshop in national level.  He guides UG and PG students in different IT project. Apart from teaching he perform many more duties of academics and administrative in the University like the Department seminar Library Coordinator, University sports, University Website Development, IT support in Requirement process, Admission process and Examination etc.
