Admission into M.Sc. Botany requires at least a second class honours with minimum 50% marks in the Botany Honours / or a minimum 50% marks in Botany as elective along with 50% aggregate marks from a UGC/AICTE recognized institute at Graduation level.
Those who have passed the Three-year Degree Course Examination from a University/ an Institution (situated outside the state of Odisha), where the provision of teaching in Honours does not exist, will be eligible to apply for PG course provided they have taken the examination in the concerned subject with minimum of 4 papers/ 24 credits carrying at least 400 marks, subject to the fulfillment of the minimum eligibility condition as laid down from time to time by the University.
Admission into M.Sc. Two year full time MBA is the flagship program of the Department. The course is spread over four semesters and includes Summer Internship Program (SIP) and Dissertation. The Dept. offers specialization in the areas of Marketing, HR, Finance and Operations. A student has to opt for two out of the four areas of specializations after 2nd semester.
