He holds the position of Visiting Professor in the Department of Odia since 2012. He retired as Asso. professor of Odia in the year 2010 from Govt.Autonomous College, Bhawanipatna. He has more than 34(Thirty Four) years of teaching experience (both in the UG, PG & M.Phil) in the field of Ancient and Modern Literature. He has 10 books and more than 300 nos research articles published in different leading journal  to his credit. He has already produced eight (08) research scholars in Ph.D Level. He got Jhankar Award in the year 2007 from Prajatantra Prachara Samiti. He received more than 30 no’s award from other organizations.
