Dr. Parida has completed her M.Phil & Ph.D. from Department of Philosophy, Utkal University in 1999 & 2005 respectively. She has qualified National Eligibility Test (UGC) and Junior Research Fellowship (ICPR) in the year 2000.

Currently she is an Associate Professor, Department of Philosophy, Ravenshaw University and holds the position of Director, Students’ Welfare, Ravenshaw University. Formerly she was the Coordinator of P. G. Dept. of Philosophy, Utkal University and DSW, Second Campus, Utkal University, Chandikhole. She has authored two books and translated 5 books from Bengali to Odia. She has more than 23 articles published in various referred journals to her credit.
