Dr. Meher has completed his Ph.D. from Department of English, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. He has qualified the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) in June 2012. He has more than fifteen years of academic experience, teaching in various colleges of Odisha, including Rajendra College, Balangir. His research interests include Postcolonial Literature, Diaspora Studies and Translation. He has worked as the Consulting Editor to The District Gazetteer of Balangir, a Government of Odisha Undertaking. He is also an accomplished translator and has recently authored two translated books with Bloomsbury Publication. Currently, he holds the position of Asst. Professor in the Department of English, Ravenshaw University since 2013.
