Prof (Dr) Hrusikesh Sahoo completed his M.Sc. degree from Utkal University in 1976 in First class First position. He completed his Ph.D degree from Utkal University in 1985. Prof Sahoo has 35 years of teaching and research experience to his credit. He was Emeritus professor from 2014 to 2016. He is also the recipient of a number of awards. He has published 93 papers in international and national journals. He has guided 20 Ph.D and 21 M.Phil students. His areas of specialisation are Fuel Geology, Groundwater Geology, Economic Geology and Environmental geology.
