Jnanee Debasish completed his M.A. (2007) from Utkal University, Vanivihar as topper of the batch. He completed his Ph.D. (2015) from Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal on Odia and Hindi novel (comparative Study). Prior to this he has qualified J.R.F.(2007) and completed his M.Phil.(2009) from Utkal University on the comparative study of Odia and Hindi Drama. He has worked as a casual compeer for Yuva Vani(AIR, Cuttack) and sub editor for literary magazines for a short period of time. He joined this University as an Assistant Professor in 2013. He has started writing and gets published in different literary magazines from his college years. He has two criticism books, three edited books to his credit. He is an acclaimed poet with four collections of poetry in Odia. He is a recipient of Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar (New Delhi) for poetry in 2016.The radio script based program of Jnanee Debasish received best program award for musical category from Prasar Bharati(New Delhi) and first prize in 13th International Radio Workshop at Iran. He has delivered talk in various radio and television program. He has more than sixty research publications in different magazines and research anthologies. He has completed 7 Orientation, Refresher and Faculty Development Programs. His current research interest is focused on Drama, Fiction, Modern literature and Comparative Studies. He has presented more than sixty papers in different Seminars, Webinars and Workshops and participated as a resource person in different literary gatherings.
