Dr. Ranjit Ghose is having 45 years of experience in teaching and research in philosophy. After his graduation from Ravenshaw (1971), he completed his masters and doctoral degrees from Utkal and Rajasthan University. He retired from Orissa Educational Service as Principal, B.J.B (Autonomous) College in 2010. He has published  36 research papers in Philosophy and Social Science. His area of specialization is Philosophy of Mind, Ethics and Political Philosophy. His much acclaimed publications include Idea of a Person (1990) and India Tomorrow (2011).
