Dr.Bikram Keshari Mishra has completed MA, M. Phil. and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology from the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, (JNU), New Delhi. His Doctoral research pertains to the field of ‘sociology of work and gender’. He has been serving the vocation called teaching since 2006. His broad areas of interest include sociological thought, gender studies, education, religion, Dalit studies and contemporary socio-political issues.
