He holds the position of visiting Faculty at Department of Statistics in Ravenshaw University, Cuttack from 2016. He has more than 46 years of teaching experience in statistics. He completed M.Sc. Statistics on 1971 from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar with specialization of sampling theory. After completing his M.Sc., he was joined as economic investigator directorate in evaluation cell, Planning and Co-ordination Dept. Government of Odisha in 1972. On 1975 he worked as lecturer in statistics in Kendrapara Auto College till 1996. From 1996 to 1999 he worked as reader and H.O.D Statistics and retired from his work. After his retirement, in 2009 he joined as visiting faculty in B.J.B Auto College, Bhubaneswar. Now, from 2016 he joined Ravenshaw University as visiting faculty member.
