He holds the position of Asst. Professor at Department of IST-ETC. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience in the field of Computer Science, dealing with subjects like Java and Python Programming Languages, Internet of Things, Computer Networking, Software Engineering, Software Evolution, Network Security, DBM and Big Data, Cloud Computing, etc. He has attended a good number of National and International Seminars and Conferences. He has some notable publications to his credit. He is a Master in Computer Applications and has completed his M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2012 from BPUT Odisha. The thesis work at M. Tech. Level was based on Data Mining in general and Web Usage Mining in particular. He formulated a novel and more holistic version of Web Usage Mining termed TRAnsactional LOgfile Mining (TRALOM) to effectively and correctly identify transactions as well as to mine useful knowledge from Web Access Logs using a new Data Structure called the WebTrie to efficiently hold useful pre-processed data. His current research interest is focused on Application of Machine Learning in Software Prediction. He has special interest in popularisation of state-of-the-art technology among student community. He is a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and the Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (IRED).
