Dr. Alok Ranjan Tripathy completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science under the faculty of Science and Technology, Utkal University in the field of Algorithms. He has more than 16 years of experience in academics, research and administration. His teaching expertise lies in Algorithms, Machine Learning, Cryptography Theory of Computation, Compiler Design and Computer Graphics. His core research fields are Algorithms, Security, Wireless Sensor Network, Cloud Computing and Machine Learning. He has authored various publications in journals and conferences of international and national repute. Apart from academics and research, he has proved his mettle as an able administrator. Currently, he is an assistant professor in the department of Computer Science and an active member of Kanika Library Committee of Ravenshaw University. He had previously held offices as the Systems (I/C), Course Coordinator, Department of Computer Science & MCA, Associate Coordinator, UG and PG Department of ITM, Ravenshaw University and as M. Tech. Coordinator in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, College of Engineering Bhubaneswar. Dr. Tripathy also serves as an Affiliation Committee member of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. He is also a reviewer in many international coferences. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Odisha Information Technology Society (OITS).The current research group is interested to explore the development of parallel algorithms,performance of vehicular cloud, security mechanism for Wireless Sensor Network and BigData in cloud Computing.
