Prof.Tushar Kanta Pany holds the position of Professor at the Department of Commerce and currently serving as Head, Department of Commerce. He has more than twenty years of teaching and ten years of research experience in Commerce and Management. He has published four text books, four reference books, three chapters in edited books and about thirty-nine research papers in various peer reviewed and UGC listed journals to his credit. He was awarded Ph.D. in Management in the year 2008 from Utkal University, Odisha. The Ph. D thesis work was based on Marketing Tourist Destinations. He is particularly interested in studying the role of marketing, tourism and MSME in the development of the state and the nation. Nine students have already been awarded PhD under his able guidance. He was conferred as Best Professor of Marketing Management by ET NOW at Mumbai. He has been awarded as the Best Writer for Co-operative Sectors by Sj. Naveen Pattnaik, the Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha. He has successfully headed the Department of Commerce for four years and led the department achieve great heights. He was also the Dean (I/C) of School of Management, Ravenshaw University for more than one year. He is a passionate academician and is loved and respected by his students for his passion towards his profession.
