He holds the position of Assistant Professor Stage-II at the Department of Commerce.  He has  more than  twenty two  year of teaching experience in Commerce & Management. He has twelve books, five chapter edited  and twenty  one  research  papers  in  peer  reviewed  national  and  international journals to his credit. He earned his PhD in 2011from Fakir Mohan University, Odisha. The PhD thesis work was based on Financial Appraisal of Indian Cotton Textile Industries. He also holds the degree of Master of Business Administration and qualified NET (UGC) in 1998. He was also a ResourcePerson more than fourteen National & International Seminars. He is particularly interested in Capital flow and local economy, Micro finance and sustainable development, Financial Reporting Practice in India and Corporate Disclosures & Practice.Now his research group is involved in studying Micro Finance and Sustainable Development. Mergers and Acquisition in Banking sector. Performance Appraisal of SMEs in Odisha and Emerging trend of Mobile Commerce.
