Dr. Sharma holds the position of Assistant professor in the Department of Geology, Ravenshaw University. He has completed his doctorate in the year 2020 from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (UP). His doctorate research work mainly focuses on the petrogenesis and geochemical aspects of ultramafic rocks from the Wajrakarur kimberlite field and Gurramkonda area of Eastern Dharwar Craton, Southern India and their geodynamic implications. Further, he carried out his post-doctoral research work at physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad from 22 March 2021 to 28 February 2022. During the course of his research he has published a number of articles in reputed peer reviewed SCI journals.
