Mr. Sudipta Kumar Naik is currently posted as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology, at Ravenshaw University. He completed his M. Tech in Applied geology from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh in the year 2019. Before joining here he worked as a Junior Research Fellow at CSIR- IMMT, Bhubaneswar for a period of one year to pursue a P.hD degree. During this tenure, his research mainly focused on mineral characterization and beneficiation projects on iron and nickel. His master’s dissertation work was on Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production Activities at Assam & Assam-Arakan Basin. Currently, his subject area of teaching includes Structural Geology, Metamorphic Geology, and Mineralogy.
