She holds the position of Guest Faculty at Department of Chemistry. She completed her PhD on 20019 from National Institute of Science Education and Reasearch, Bhubaneswar. Her thesis work was based on peroxide mediated C-X bond synthesis. Apart from her thesis work she has also worked on metal free sustainable organic synthesis, hypervalent iodine chemistry, mechanochemistry and noncavalent interactions in organic synthesis. She has 11 publications in peer reviewed journals. Her current research interest is focused on application of visible light photocatalyst for sustainable organic synthesis and organocatalysis.
