Prof. Patitapaban Das is a Professor of Philosophy and Director, IQAC. He is the coordinator of the Centre for Sri Aurobindo Studies and Futurology, Ravenshaw University. Besides, he is also the Coordinator of Design and Innovation Center, IIT, BBSR.  He received his post graduation studies from Utkal University with the university gold medal. He completed his MPhil. from JNU, New Delhi. He obtained his PhD degree from Ravenshaw University on the theme “Moral Contextualism as a Method for Applied Ethics”. He has authored five books on different areas of philosophy. He has more than 27 articles published from various journals to his credit. Besides Applied Ethics, he has a keen interest in Continental Philosophy especially Phenomenology and Buddhist Philosophy.
