Ravenshaw University has a single-point instrumentation facility with free access for all faculty and research scholars. Every high- end instrument installed in CIF is assigned to a faculty member who specialises in a certain field of research and operates a laboratory in the central facility. CIF also provides access to researchers from other academic institutions, at a nominal fee charged towards the maintenance of equipment and basic chemicals and materials used in the lab.
