Miss Bidya Biswajeeta is holding the position of temporary faculty of Integrated B.A. B.ED and B.SC. B.ED programme in the Department of Education, Ravenshaw University,Cuttack. As regards of her academic qualifications, she has doubleBachelor- one in Commerce from Dhenkanal Autonomous College and another one in Performing Arts in Odissi Dance from Sri Sri University. After that she has completed her Master of Performing Arts in Odissi Dance from Utkal University of Culture with a top rank. Perusing that now she is continuing her Ph.D. in Odissi at Sri Sri University, Cuttack. Her title of the research is “A Critical Analysis of the Abhinaya of Odissi Dance in relation to Nayaka & Nayika bhedas found in different literary renditions of Kabi Samrat Upendra Bhanja.”

She took into dancing with a natural flare as her deep interest aclid as the moral boost to initiate in the classical richness of Odissi. Swift grasping, vivid expressions and spontaneity define her strength and she is persistently working towards perfection in this field. She has 14years of experience in the field of Odissi Dance.

In recognition to her sustained commitment to the cause of Odissi, she has been participating in different programs organized by different authorities in India under the guidance of her Guru, like the Konark festival, Mukteswar festival, Dhauli festival, Khajuraho festival, International festival, Odisha mahotsav, Baliyatra festival to name a few. She also visited outside of India for performing Odissi under ICCR and Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. She loves the diversity of cultures which is flourished in Odisha. She also had diverted her soul to the essential authenticity of Odissi.
