His research area of interest is basically psychological implications in classroom situation and quantitative analysis of data. Therefore, to begin with focus question, firstly, how teacher teaching strategies matched with the learners’ learning, thinking, decision making styles and meta-cognitive strategies? Secondly, Does the personality characteristics of learners helps to enhance their learning achievement and match with teacher personality.

In order to answer such questions, His PG, M.Phil. and Ph.D. level students of education have done research on styles of learning, thinking and decision making styles and also in the area of cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies, well-being, grit, self concept and self efficacy, personality, etc. . Why there is a need of research in this particular area because;

  1. Students may be provided training in diagnosing their own learning and thinking styles to capitalize their strengths of learning of different nature of content.
  2. Proper teaching and learning strategies, methods and environment should be developed and provided for identification of own learning strengths and weaknesses so as to ensure higher academic achievement.
  3. Use of different teaching styles in the classroom should be compatible with students’ learning styles.
  4. Knowing about learning style helps the students to be more productive, creative, make better design, increase achievement and develop the skill of problem solving and critical thinking.
