Prof. Bhattamishra superannuated from Berhampur University in the year 2010. She has more than forty years of experience in teaching and research. She mainly teaches physical chemistry with an expertise in quantum chemistry. In research front, she has published more than 30 articles and supervised 12 Ph. D. students. Her core research areas span around solid-state chemistry and radiation chemistry. She was endowed with the much- acclaimed Commonwealth Fellowship (1989) where she worked under Prof. A. K. Galwey (Queen’s University, Belfast). Currently, she is engaged as a visiting professor in the Department of Chemistry, Ravenshaw University.
