Dr. Amit Kumar Sahoo currently holds the position of Assistant Professor. Before joining Ravenshaw University, he was working as a SSB lecturer in Atal Behari College, Basudevpur for six years. Prior to this he was a Research Associate in Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), Gurgaon, for two years. He has both research and teaching experience for more than 8 years. He teaches Development Economics, Economics of Growth, Research Methodology, Macroeconomics. His broad area of research interest is Health Economics and Population & Development. He has completed his Masters from Central University of Hyderabad and PhD from Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore.
